My Magazine Research

For my magazine research, I went into shops and looked at fashion magazines, however they were very basic and standard, In the graphics room I came across 'ARTS' magazines which used pictures and illustrations which I found really interesting and inspiring, However my main inspiration is  whom which I discovered Hattie Stewart on Pinterest, She draws on top of a photographed image giving it a unique look and style, something I may try with my magazine. Not only that but from looking at pinterest and real life magazine layout it has given me a better understanding of how alignment, whitespace, typeface and images are used in the magazine industry.
